Anonymous asked: At what age did you start writing music and who inspired you musically in your early years?

About 10.  I was in to a lot of early doo wop, garage, and folk music growing up. Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, The Band, The Drifters, The Coasters, Jackie Wilson, Chuck Berry, screamin jay hawkins, Them, Leadbelly, and a lot of American Roots music.  That led to everything else from British Invasion to Punk Rock.  But It all started with early rhythm and blues folk and country.  Those were the building blocks for me.
